The HUB Package

This is one of our most exciting packages and is designed to facilitate the hub model of school improvement. As part of this package, you will also be invited to join our wider Melhoria family of schools. This will give your school and your hub the opportunity to access bespoke CPD sessions, CPD at reduced prices, online resources and access to all the schools across the Melhoria family!

Your hub will have one school improvement advisor who will act as your hub ‘plan holder’ and your named SIP. However, we all work as a team so reviews and CPD may well also include our wider team of associates. We specialise in giving you the best possible person to meet your needs.

The hub package has been adapted this year to reflect the renewed OFSTED framework. All visits align with the framework and aim to enable you to gather evidence to support your SEF and SDP.  Hubs this year having opted to focus on one of the below (or both!)

Making Inclusion Work: Teaching, Achievement, Early Years, and Leadership (see additional services)

Making Safeguarding work beyond compliance: Well-being, Attendance and Positive Behaviour (see additional services)

 What's included in The HUB Package

• The SIP will act as the single plan holder for the schools within the hub and be your key point of contact.
• An initial planning meeting with the SIP and school leaders, a Hub Improvement Plan and a review meeting with school leaders and your SIP.
• The SIP will broker all support from our team of expert associates to ensure you receive the highest quality support. Associates providing support will be in touch with the hub coordinator.
• At least one ‘supportive review’ per year, led by the SIP and an associate advisor wherever possible, so they develop an in depth understanding of the own school, as well as strengths across the wider hub. The reviews are aligned with the renewed framework and support school leaders in developing an evidenced based SEF and SDP.
• The SIP will identify best practice opportunities across regions where appropriate to enable hubs to make links with a wider range of schools.

Additional days can bought in, individually and/or shared across the hub – we try our best to incorporate enough flexibility to do this through the year. Many Hubs buy in an additional ‘Safeguarding review’ or add this to their wider Hub package.
