The New to Headship Package
Do you need a listening ear, are you feeling overwhelmed? Headship is both a wonderful and terrifying role - we all remember our first headships with a mixture of fear and love. This package is designed for school leaders either recently appointed, or in their first few years of headship. It would also support acting or interim headteachers. It is a flexible package so can be adapted to meet the needs of school leaders.
What's included in The New to Headship Package
3 days support (or equivalent plus ongoing telephone support)
- Ongoing mentoring
- One day in school supportive review with either one or two members of our team. The focus to be agreed and the day planned with school leaders.
- Support with the SEF and SDP
- RACI development: Identifying the following roles in terms of – responsibility, accountability, consulted and informed. This can assure new leaders that systems and structure in their schools are robust and fit for purpose, identify any overlap or gaps, and ensure budgets are well used.
- 1-day flexible support to be agreed.
Cost: £1800 (15% reduction for small schools of less than 120 pupils)

As a new head, venturing into the world of headship and all that it brings could seem quite daunting. However the schools in my hub had just started working with Lesley and the team and this made all the difference to me. Lesley and the team's principles of working with you, really stand firm.
